Most importantly, we are a purpose-built organization that is passionate about positively impacting the healthcare communities we serve up and down the value chain, including our employees and suppliers through fair wage and clean labor practices, the small businesses we empower, and the end users of our products. We also donate significant funds and resources to organizations that benefit our customers and the communities where they live and work.

Giving Back:
From the beginning, Careismatic has devoted a significant amount of time, ideas, resources, and funds to organizations and initiatives that elevate and celebrate healthcare professionals. Our approach is innovative and dynamic, as our company evolves so do our partnerships – all in the name of supporting those who care for others and work to create a healthier, happier world.
Since 2010, Careismatic has partnered with The DAISY Foundation,an international organization recognizing nurses for extraordinary care. Through our brand Healing Hands, we fund the Conference Grant for DAISY Nurses, an annual education program. We also sponsor The DAISY Award within the Indian Health Service and support the DAISY Health Equity Award, honoring nurses working to mitigate health disparities.
CBI is a proud supporter of Mercy Ships, an organization that operates “floating hospitals,” with state-of-the-art medical equipment staffed by volunteer medical professionals who travel to regions in dire need of medical care. Cherokee Uniforms, a CBI brand,has been the official medical uniform sponsor since 2019, donating over $100,000 in apparel. Our support helps them perform lifesaving surgical and dental procedures and outfitting local health professionals.
MATTER 360 promotes sustainability by repurposing medical waste to benefit resource-challenged areas around the world. In 2023, Careismatic donated over 500,000 pounds of inventory to MATTER 360, which benefited communities in Bolivia, Liberia, Senegal, Ukraine, and the United States, among others.
In 2007, Careismatic produced the landmark documentary titled “A Nurse I Am,” and launched the “A Nurse I Am” Scholarship, supporting nursing students. To date, we’ve awarded more than $200,000 of scholarship funds, helping over 100 healthcare professionals launch their careers as healthcare professionals.
Project Street Vet is a non-profit founded by veterinarian Kwane Stewart providing free care and treatment to pets of individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Together with a team of volunteers, Dr. Kwane seeks out pet owners in unsheltered communities, offering “no judgement, just help.” In 2024, Careismatic partnered with Stewart on Healing Hands’ Dr. Kwane Collection, designed for veterinarians and pet parents alike, in support of Project Street Vet.
