How we approach brand imagery creation.
Visual World
Thoughtful | Calm | Present | Kindness
The profound gratitude to be experienced within thoughtful care for others, is the basis of the Healing Hands visual world. Calming, soothing, peaceful images with complementary lighting and locations are ideal. Elements of spa, wellness and sensory atmospheres can be introduced.
Textures, tonal coloring and a sense of a tactile, therapeutic experience should be brought to the fore. Aspects of nature, plants and humanity can be used. A feeling of calm, peace, gentleness and consciousness is the goal.
Props, artefacts and set design
Warmth | Serenity | Harmony | Balance
Consider creating feelings of calm and healing via the locations and sets that are used to create visuals.
For very simple studio set ups, consider simple background textures such as slatted walls, and simple props and artefacts such as large generous leafed plants, essence sticks and other sensuous items that evoke this sense of warmth serenity and harmony. Harnessed natural balance is the goal to express.
Think therapeutic and human as opposed to ‘clinical´. Consider textures and patinas that connote sensory delight and comforting, curative environments. Consider even the type and materials of a simple stool for a simple studio shot. An interesting natural material, even if engineered into a contemporary shape, will do more for the feeling of the brand than an off-the-shelf corporate stool in metal and pleather. This is not about absolutely expensive pieces, but more about thoughtful, selected pieces that feel human.
Lighting
Lighting and using light should be foremost in the imagery creation. Light streaks and soft shadows across wall surfaces, dappled light, and reflections and refractions, will serve to enhance the concept of thoughtfulness, presence and calm.
